Registered Racing Colours

Falconry has a long traditional association with royalty and heraldry. Owners eligible to enter BFRA races are eligible to register their unique racing colours for their Falcon hoods and staff clothing. Racing colours can be registered here and the Directory of Racing Colours can be found here. There is an initial registration fee and an annual retainer fee.

 

Logos and advertising

Pilots and Falconers may wear sponsorship liveries by permission of the local organising club. These liveries can display the logos of sponsors and can be changed from race to race or from year to year without registration. The background colours usually reflect the Racing Colours of the Owner. Sponsors are able to sponsor a whole event, a specific race, a team, or an individual Falcon.

 

Media coverage

Filming and media rights belong to the organising club of each event. Hunt races are designed specifically for filming.
